MARINA CAMPONÊS

FLUTE FACULTY

Flutist Marina Camponês began her musical studies at Sociedade Filarmónica 25Julho de Sta Margarida do Arrabal and Orfeão de Leiria, in the studio of João Pedro Fonseca. She studied at Escola Superior de Música de Lisboa with Anthony Pringsheim and at Academia Nacional Superior de Orquestra with Nuno Inácio, and holds a graduate certificate from Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya, where she was a student of Vicens Prats. Marina collaborates regularly with the Portuguese Chamber Orchestra, Ensemble D'Arcos, Lisbon Sinfonietta, Sintra Municipal Orchestra, Lisbon Metropolitan Orchestra, and Gulbenkian Orchestra. She is a member of the contemporary music ensemble Lisbon Ensemble 20.21 and an Associate Artist of the Portuguese Association of Composers. She is a prize winner of the 2016 Concurso de Interpretação do Estoril and the 2010 ''Prémio Jovens Músicos'' competition and has performed as a soloist with the renowned Gulbenkian Orchestra and Lisbon Metropolitan Orchestra. Marina teaches flute and chamber music at Escola Profissional Metropolitana, Escola de Música Nossa Senhora do Cabo and at the Academia de Música de Lisboa. Her students have won several awards in national and international competitions.
